Issue: Fortinet, the firewall and router manufacturer, has announced a new backdoor that was realized that allows remote users to access data on devices. The access is read-only. The information is believed to contain additional credential information that could lead to non-read-only access.
Resolution: Any Fortinet user should update their device immediately to clear this backdoor.

Issue: Apple has announced TWO zero-day vulnerabilities (zero-day means they are already being exploited). This impacts all of their devices operating a Mac operating system. The issue allows for remote code to be released and executed on the device.
Resolution: All Apple device users should immediately update their devices; Apple has stated a release is universally available.
Risk 3: Medium
Issue: The recent updates to the classic version of Microsoft Outlook are causing your processor usage to drastically spike, causing system performance issues mimicking those typical to malware.
Resolution: This is creating a significant issue as it leaves the impression like Microsoft is trying to pressure users into migrating to the latest version of Outlook; however, Microsoft has denied any claims.
Microsoft’s solution is, shocker, to upgrade the latest version of Outlook.
Users still remaining on classic Outlook should be cautious and the current updates do mimic potentially dangerous trends.
